The Levoit Core 400S comes well-packaged and surprisingly compact for its coverage range. It looks great — white, minimal, and fits into any modern room without standing out too much. Setup was under 5 minutes using the VeSync app on both Android and iPhone.

🏠 Real-World Test Environment

We placed it in a 20m² living room in a house with a dog, carpet, and two hay fever sufferers. The room had mild odours and visible dust on shelves before we started. We tested it for a full week, including overnight use.

🌬️ Performance & Noise Levels

Within 25–30 minutes of use on Auto mode, we noticed significantly cleaner-smelling air and visibly less dust on surfaces. On sleep mode, the purifier is whisper-quiet — at just 24dB it’s less noticeable than a ticking wall clock. The air quality sensor seemed accurate and reacted quickly when we opened windows or cooked nearby.

📱 Smart Features

App control works very well, and Alexa integration was instant. We could create schedules, turn the device on remotely, and monitor filter life. No subscription is required for these features, which is a big win. The built-in PM2.5 sensor is surprisingly accurate for a product at this price point.
